Purpose of the Animal Control Officer

  • Enforces the Town By-Laws relating to dogs and the General Laws of Massachusetts in the care of strays and homeless animals.

     
  • Answers all dog and animal complaints.

     
  • Enforces dog licensing and leash laws.
